Rijksmuseum - The late Rembrandt
The Netherland's famous collection of Rembrandt van Rijn's (1606 - 1669) work can be found in Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum. The late Rembrandt Gallery, which is solely owned by the city, features a breathtaking view of 20 of the artist's famous masterpieces, including "The Night Watch". Other notable works of Holland's prominent 17th Century painter includes "The Jewish Bible", "Peter Denying Christ", "Self Portrait of Apostle Paul" and "Saskia with a Veil". To better enjoy the work of Rembrandt, the Rijksmuseum offers catering in the gallery where a maximum of 48 guests can dine among the masterpieces during special events.
