Van Gogh museum. The buildings.
The Van Gogh museum consist of two buildings. One is the main structure, the other is the exhibition wing. They were designed by Gerry Rietveld and Kisho Kurokawa, but many other architects contributed to the today's appearance, by designing and remodeling various parts either outside or inside.
The designers who took part to the project during the years are J. van Dillen and J. van Tricht, Martien van Goor of Greiner Van Goor Huijten Architects BV, Georges Berne of the French company L’Observatoire and Eveline Merkx of Merkx+Girod Architects.
